Detailed Product Description:
|
DON 600/ 700 / 900 mm turbine ventilator with vertical vanes, large exhaust capacity, longer service life.
DON Vertical Vane Turbine Ventilator adopts vertical vanes design. It has higher flow coefficients and greater exhausting capacity than spherical vane wind ventilators. Fewer ventilators are required for your buildings so that project cost can be reduced.
It is rain- proof and dustproof. Availability of varipitch which is adjustable to a wide range of roof angles ensures installation easier and perpendicular to the ground. It is made from light weight and corrosion resistant aluminium alloy, which makes ventilator to rotate at very low wind speed and longer service life. No need of frequent maintenance and replacement. We use heavy duty double row stainless steel self-lubricating ball bearing. It is specially designed for commercial and industrial buildings to reduce temperature and pollutants in buildings and to deliver a better working environment.
ADVANTAGES: Higher Exhausting Efficiency, Smoke Release, Environmental Protection, Energy Saving, Fewer Quantity, Saving Project Cost, Varipitch Design, Easy Installation, No Maintenance, Good Anti- corrosion, Longer Service Life.

Company History
|
|
Edmonds was established by Neville Edmonds, a young engineer, in 1934. His goal was to produce the so-called S Rotor ventilator design – originally invented in Denmark - in Australia.
In 1981 the company was acquired by Norm McDonald, an industrial draughtsman with an established background working with ventilation products through HH Robinson. Norm was later to invent the world renowned vertical blade Hurricane vent design and to import Whirlybird components from the USA. Through an association with the fibreglass business, Alsynite, whereby Edmonds assembled the Whirlybird and Alsynite marketed and sold the product, Whirlybird became a household name and the category was fully established by 1991.
In 1996, the Edmonds business was majority purchased by Cornelius Vanderstar, a U.S. industrialist of significant stature. The business moved to much larger premises at Dee Why and through considerable investment in capital, R&D and people, the business expanded by a factor of five by 2005. Growth came through improved marketing, export market development, new products and productivity improvements, plus a dedicated and experienced sales force. In 2004 Edmonds’ R&D team invented the world’s first true hybrid rotary vent. This invention, and the general financial performance of Edmonds, plus the potential to develop synergies between ventilation and insulation, prompted CSR to acquire the business in November 2005.
Edmonds was fully integrated into the Bradford Insulation Group of CSR by the end of 2007.

Experienced and trusted
|
|
Edmonds has over 75 years experience in ventilator design and manufacture. It has been primarily responsible for the promulgation in Australia of the world’s first standard covering flow testing of ventilators (AS 4740) and has established, through independent consultants, its own large testing laboratory to carry out this work.
As a result of the continuous testing and product development, Edmonds has arguably assembled the largest amount of scientific data on factors impacting vent performance, vent design and vent application. This information is made available whenever required to consultants around the globe to assist them with designing the right ventilation schemes for their next project.
